After a life well lived, Gene passed away on December 4, 2025 at the age of 88.
He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife of 63 years, Rita-Mae; children, Judith Anne (D'Arcy), John (Jeanny), and Katherine; grandchildren, Bryan (Melanie), Jessica (Scott), Michael (Marsheila), Kelly (Amine) and Scott; great-grandchildren, Lynn, Abby, Elliott and Auggie; extended family and friends.
Gene was predeceased by his parents, Dal and Theresa and his brother Dennis.
In keeping with Gene's wishes, cremation has taken place and a funeral mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, December 29, 2025 at St. Ignatius Parish, 255 Stafford Street, with a reception to follow.
